Sam Lanin

Sam Lanin had a very prolific recording career in the 1920s and early 30s. He was the musical director of Ipana Troubadours, led orchestra at New York's Roseland Ballroom. Lanin recorded under many pseudonyms, Arkansaw Travellers, Broadway Bell-Hops, Okeh Melodians, New York Syncopators, The Melody Sheiks, Phil Hughes, Frank Auburn, Lloyd Keating, Jerry Fenwyck and Wally Edwards.
