The Monster of Piedras Blancas (1959) Jeanne Carmen

A monster invades a sleepy seaside town. The lighthouse keeper has been leaving food out for the monster for years, unaware of it's blood lust. When the monster's appetite outstrips the keeper's ability to serve it, bloodless decapitated corpses start to show up.

The Monster of Piedras Blancas was ment to be a fright film, pure and simple, and it delivers the goods. Jeanne Carmen steals the show with her luscious bod. At times sehs sexy and at times terrified, and she does both so well. The setting of a sleepy California coastal town and the impressive score, added to the films appeal.  A favorite monster flick of the 1950's.★★★
