Great screen play and excellent performances from all the cast. No Down Payment is one of those movies that remind us all couples have some kind of problem. Each decade brings out the memories in a person but the 1950s was a time that most people look back on as Americas greatest decade. This is at a time when many Americans were building fallout shelters and fear of nuclear war. You wont see shelter building in this film but you will see neighbors get liquored up and party, 50s style. ★★★
