Man like this flick just makes me want to drop some acid. Jack Nicholson stars as Stoney, the leader of a rock band. Susan Strasberg plays a teen runaway who is deaf and looking for her brother. Her brother played by Bruce Dern is a flipped out Jesus freak called The Seeker. Dean Stockwell  plays an annoying hippy that thinks he has all the answers, but in the end he does save a life. Nicholson and the band pretend to play instruments during a rip-off of a Jimi Hendrix tune Purple Haze. Also see guest appearances by the musical groups "The Seeds" & "The Strawberry Alarm clock". What can we learn from this film? Well LSD and grass are good, STP is bad, where Nicholson informs us it was developed by the CIA. And just in case you did not know, STP stands for Serenity, Tranquillity and Peace. Come to a land where a carpet becomes a field of wheat, where lights and colors send you on a trip, watch Psych-Out and get wasted. ★★★
