The Miami Story (1954) Barry Sullivan

In this Miami-set crime drama, a secret society of officials united against the ever-encroaching Mafia, hire a reformed mobster to help them rid the city of the mob.

The film starts with the real life Senator George A. Smithers giving an introduction. He states that the crime lords no longer exists in Miami, this must have been propaganda to get tourists in Florida. The Miami Story kept my interest and had a good cast, it was a fast paced and a fun movie.★★★
