The Stepford Wives (1975) Katharine Ross

Her name is Joanna Eberhart, Joanna is moving to Stepford where the women happily go about their housework; cleaning, doing laundry, cooking gourmet meals, and satisfying their husbands every wish. But Joanna is about to discover that something's not quite right about this place. Katharine Ross as Joanna is baffled by the way the women act, she thinks it might be the water, but it turns out to be something much more sinister. This movie was so cool when it first came out, I wanted my own Stepford wife, and I still do. A far fetched concept at the time it's coming closer to fruition with AI. This would have made a great TV program back in the day. The Stepford Wives, is a must see for sci-fi fans.  ★★★
