The Last Woman On Earth (1960) Betsy Jones-Moreland

Director: Roger Corman
Stars: Betsy Jones-Moreland, Antony Carbone, Robert Towne
The Last Woman On Earth is not only a survival film but also a love story. When your the last woman available you can take your pick, even if you have to decide between your husband and his lawyer, the psychology is essentially feminine. Director Roger Corman put a new spin on the old love triangle theme when three people go diving and come up survivors of some kind of natural or man made disaster. How about you, would you share your wife, or would you just off the competition? What if she was the beautiful Betsy Jones-Moreland? Betsy had a long career and can be seen in numerous TV shows of the 1950's through the 1990's, she was also in several of Roger Corman's films. The husband played by Antony Carbone did several exploitation films for Corman as well, Carbone can be seen in early TV shows like Thriller, The Twilight Zone, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and many more. Robert Towne plays the lawyer, who later wrote "Chinatown", he is still in the business and has the reputation as script doctor extraordinaire. ★★★
